On December 10th 2007 sixteen-year-old Aqsa Parvez's father strangled her to death. The Pakistani community newspapers in Toronto labelled her "ziddi larki"- stubborn girl. This shocking lack of recognition of domestic violence is the inspiration for this experimental short film. Atif Siddiqi (a Pakistani male) portrays a female character that leads a seemingly ordinary life with a tragic ending.
