Alysha Brilla

Alysha Brilla is a critically acclaimed Tanzanian-Canadian singer and songwriter known for her eclectic mix of jazz, world and pop. Brilla performs on both guitar and piano. Her playful lyrics and on stage banter have garnered the attention of audiences internationally. The 2012 Leading Edge Arts Award winner has performed at The Montreal Jazz Festival, The Mariposa Folk Festival and CBC Radio with the help of The Brilltones, her jazz band with whom she shared a residency at Toronto’s premiere music venue, The Reservoir Lounge.
