Desi's Rock
Mosaic 2011 is proud to present first Desi's Rock on Saturday, July 9, 2011 in the Ampitheatre between 12:00 noon and 6:00pm. With a population of just under 50 000 people, Welland, Ontario has not traditionally been known for being a hotbed of break-out musical scenes.
Swaras
Emerging from the genre of "World Fusion" their music is not just an amalgamation of the Classical Eastern and Rocking Western harmonies but also a synthesis of the world melodies.
Nawtiks
Nawtiks, starting out as DJ/Producers and vocalists, the original concept for the group was to take indian musical elements and mash them up with whatever styles would go along with it.
Sing Bandana Singh
Sing Bandana Singh is a Toronto based three piece alt/rock band heavily influenced by punk, north Indian classical vocals and the full spectrum of human emotions.
Kazak
Kazak is a south Asian Rock band based in Toronto. As emerging south Asian sound , they are working to create a unique sound that incorporates rock with masterful musical elements.
